Semi-finals of the XXVIII Semana Grande handball tournament in Plaza de la Trinidad. This version of Basque handball, or pelota a mano, is played both in frontons and open spaces. The leather ball, or pelota, is hit directly with the hand, which is protected only by cloth and adhesive tape. The basic idea of the sport, which can be played in doubles or singles, is to hit the ball against the front wall before it can hit the floor twice.
