Sanguijuelas del Guadiana

Sanguijuelas del Guadiana is an emerging Spanish music band formed by three friends (Juan, Carlos and Víctor) from Casas de Don Pedro, in the Siberia Extremeña region (Badajoz). With a fresh sound, their style blends rock, pop, electronic music and touches of rumba, with autobiographical lyrics that celebrate rural life, local “verbena” festivals, rural youth and close relationships, aiming to create a new rural imaginary.

After beginning their journey as a band in April 2024, they released their first album, Revolá, in May 2025: “a timeline that runs from the summers of childhood to the uncertainty of adult life, passing through adolescence and the need to find one’s place in the world.” One of the most distinctive projects of recent years, it is the result of a return to their roots and a commitment to authenticity and to their music and dreams.
