Lia Kali

Catalan artist Lia Kali, the artistic alter ego of Júlia Isern, is a singer and songwriter with a very distinctive style, drawing honestly, boldly, and with strong commitment from soul, reggae, rumba, jazz, trap, and hip hop, while channeling the influence of Amy Winehouse, Mala Rodríguez, Lauryn Hill, Etta James, and many other icons of popular music from recent decades.

With the release of her debut album Contra Todo Pronóstico in 2023, the Barcelona-born singer Lia Kali turned the scene upside down with a collection of songs she created as a personal catharsis to heal the setbacks, sorrows, and fears of everyday life. In 2025, she released her second studio album, titled Kaelis.
