Ereintza Dantza Taldea emerged and developed within Ereintza Elkartea, a society founded in 1958. Among its objectives is the conservation and transmission of our dances and traditions to new generations, giving new form to the ancient tradition.
In recent years, the Ereintza dance group has had numerous performances throughout the Basque region and abroad, participating in various International Festivals, folk festivals in Russia, Turkey, Ireland, Belgium, the United States, Austria, and more. In 2023, they participated in the Folklore Festivals of the Belgian towns of Sint-Gillis-Waas, Drieske Kerremes, and Montrejeau.
They also organize numerous activities around dance throughout the year, such as the Erromeria Eguna, the Errenteria Dantza, with the participation of foreign groups, the Dantzari Txiki Eguna, with the presence of more than 600 child dancers, the Gipuzkoa dantza-sueltoko Contest, the revival of the traditional Errenteria carnival, as well as the sokadantza on the eve of Saint John.
