The Kursaal will resonate with the timeless melodies of baroque music as Masaaki Suzuki takes the stage. Suzuki, who graced the Quincena Organ Cycle two years ago, returns to lead the Bach Collegium Japan, a renowned baroque ensemble comprised of original instrument performers and a choir. Founded in 1990 by Suzuki himself, a distinguished Bach interpreter, organist, harpsichordist, conductor, and musicologist, this ensemble is a rare treat for European audiences, making their festival debut this year.
