Süne

Süne - Josune Arakistain - bursts onto the music scene with a unique, fresh, and deeply personal proposal. After bringing to a close her successful chapter as the lead singer of Huntza, her first solo album, titled Amaineman, was released in 2024 (in Spanish, “to let yourself go,” “to flow,” or “to give free rein”).

Süne brings together two seemingly opposite worlds: the trikitixa, an instrument that symbolizes traditional Basque music, and electronic music, with its modern textures and vibrant energy; tradition and modernity coexist in harmony, giving rise to a sound that is as rooted as it is innovative. With guitar, piano, percussion, and synthesizers accompanying her, the techno rhythm of the songs blends perfectly with the distinctive melodies of the trikitixa. Süne’s songs have a strong identity, with lyrics that clearly express the strength of women.
