Banda Municipal de Música de Sos del Rey Católico (Zaragoza)

Since 2002, when music teaching was recovered in Sos del Rey Católico, there have been many steps that have been taken in this field, and several initiatives and projects that have gone ahead; one of them is the Municipal Music Band of Sos del Rey Católico, which is the backbone of musical activity in the town. It is made up of about 50 people, who receive weekly training in both instrumental and music theory, in addition to a general rehearsal, which serves as a meeting point between the members, and is essential for the synchronization of the ensemble.

In addition to training, the members of the Band offer concerts for the public. Many of them are celebrated in Sos del Rey Católico but trips are also made to neighboring towns to offer different concerts, generally during the celebration of their Patron Saint Festivities.
