Morodo

Rubén David Morodo Ruiz, better known by his stage name Morodo, embraced Hip Hop culture and Jamaican music from a young age, especially the kind sung in Spanish. This style was born in the early 1980s in Panama, specifically in the city of Colón, and began reaching Spain a decade later.

Today, Morodo is one of the leading figures in Spanish-language Reggae, with five studio albums and countless collaborations and Dubplates. He is one of the first Singjays in Spain and possibly the most influential for the new generations of artists in the genre. With over 20 years on stage, he is a living legend in the history of Reggae music.
